The Overt Plate Carrier is the big brother of the DPC, which attracts a little more attention. It is more suited to the tasks that happen less covertly. The benefits of our OPC: On the one hand, it offers an enormous number of possibilities to carry additional equipment, on the other hand, it impresses with a weight of only 557 grams and additional features, such as a possibility of quick opening in emergency situations.

Features:

The D-rings on the front are attached for quick release of the plate carrier. When the ring is pulled, the lower part of the shoulder strap on the selected side is pulled forward, opening the shoulder section. A simple closing after the emergency opening is possible without any problems. You do not have to thread a steel cable or similar afterwards, as used by other manufacturers. Just put the desired length of the shoulder strap together. For an optimal use of the quick opening we recommend you to use the optional Elastic Cummerbund with ROC buckle. 

The upgrade by means of placards is also given with this plate carrier by vertical laser cut slots in the chest area. These allow you to accommodate G-Hooks or QASM buckles. The cummerbund, made of robust elastic polyester rubber band, is attached by means of VELCRO® and is thus flexibly lockable to the respective body circumference and adapts to your movement. There are laser cut MOLLE and VELCRO® areas on the front and back for attaching call signs, patches or the like. The inside of the OPC is equipped with two strips of VELCRO® on each side (dimensions 3.5 cm x 17 cm) for attaching pads or e.g. a TacVent. On the bottom there are six rows of lasercut MOLLE. Thus, narrow pouches or e.g. a tourniquet can also be attached here by means of shock cord.

Ballistic protection plates are inserted into the carrier from above and secured with a VELCRO® strap. The OPC is designed for plates measuring 30 cm x 25 cm. Due to the existing flap, plates with slightly different sizes can also be used. The shoulder straps secure the plates additionally when carried and ensure that they sit close to the body.
